Chaska Herald publishing 16th Annual Resident’s Guide
June 5, 2007 - 3:34pm — steinie
Need to contact an elected official? Want to know where the newest neighborhood parks are located? Interested in joining a service organization? Look no further than the Chaska Resident’s Guide, published annually by the Chaska Herald (see current edition on this Web site, look under Special Publications). Now in its 16th year, the Chaska Resident’s Guide is prepared and published by the Chaska Herald as a community service. “This is the most comprehensive and accurate directory available to Chaska-area residents and businesses,” said Bob Suel, advertising manager, Chaska Herald. “It is a ‘one-stop’ resource, available in print and online, where people can find information about the community services and organizations of most interest to them. “With more than 15 years in publication, people can trust the accuracy of our Resident’s Guide,” Suel added. “It’s a great resource that is updated annually, and it’s also conveniently sized for use in the home or office.” The nearly 80-page, full-color Guide includes current information about city and county services, and a community map, as well as listings for local and regional government, education, parks and recreation, medical services, senior resources, nonprofit clubs and support services, arts organizations, places of worship and more. The Guide also includes business advertisements and community photos. Copies of the 2007-08 Resident’s Guide will be mailed to households in the 55318 Zip code via the Southwest Saturday publication on Oct. 4. An online version of the Guide will also be posted on the Herald’s Web site – www.chaskaherald.com – on that date. Additional copies of the Guide are available at Chaska City Hall, Chaska Area Chamber of Commerce, Welcome Neighbor and the Chaska Library. The Herald staff is currently updating the listings, information and advertisements in the 2007-08 Chaska Resident’s Guide. For more information, contact the Resident’s Guide editor at (952) 345-6676. The Chaska Herald publishes Resident’s Guides in Chaska and Carver/Cologne. Southwest Newspapers, the parent company of the Chaska Herald, also publishes Resident’s Guides in nine other communities including: Belle Plaine, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Excelsior Area, Jordan, Prior Lake, Savage, Shakopee and Victoria.
