Now that the weather is appropriately fall-like, it's time to drag out the Crock Pot and feast on the hardy foods that help us bulk up for the long winter ahead.
Ok, maybe that isn't necessarily a good thing, but, if you- like me- love fall foods, here is the place to share your recipes.
This one is my all-time favorite:
Chicken Tettrazini
Ingredients
Directions
Put everything except the pastry shells in a Crock Pot. Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer on low all day.
About a half hour prior to eating, prepare pastry shells as directed.
If desired, thicken up tettrazini before serving with a mixture of corn starch and water.
When pastry shells are done, spoon out center of shells and spoon in chicken tettrazini.
Enjoy.
