What's the p00p?
December 18, 2007 - 5:44pm — patrick_dempsey
Anyone notice a large amount of dog litter on downtown city sidewalks and paths? When I walk my dog around downtown, I always carry plastic bags to pick up his litter and toss in a trash can or just carry it home. But the amount of litter around the city is getting out of hand and I have to tippy toe my way down sidewalks and paths to avoid the excess litter around town. Have you noticed this problem? Isn't there an ordinance about cleaning up your dog's litter? Where is the enforcement to ensure owners pick up their dog litter?

It is a Chaska ordinance...
Back to page topIt is a Chaska ordinance that you have to clean up after your animal. I actually chased a lady down after she let her dog go on our lawn without picking it up - I gave her a bag and stayed to watch her pick it up. I was FURIOUS.
Next time, I'll just follow her home and leave a few dirty diapers on her lawn.
