Egads! Oprah makes $260 million a year

According to TV Guide, talk-show maven Oprah Winfrey makes $260 million per year. Amazing! And what's more amazing is that no one else on television even comes close. On a list of the top paid television entertainers, No. 2 is Simon Cowell (the surly love-him-or-hate-him judge on American Idol) with annual take home pay of $45 million.
