If the school board finally decides to choose “Storm” as Chanhassen High School’s mascot, the Herald staff has a couple of renderings they could use.
Editor Mark Olson went for the classic “tornado” depiction, while Sports Editor Tim McGovern tried the traditional “storm cloud” rendering. Both sketches demonstrate why Olson and McGovern are writers and not illustrators.
What is your idea of what the “Storm” should look like? Sketch and scan your ideas and send them to editor@chaskaherald.com. We'll post them online.
Keep in mind that any sketches need to avoid copyright disputes (ala, the classic University of Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Chaska Hawks debate).
