Summer festivals are ramping up, so I thought I'd create a forum topic that addresses summer 2008 festivals that sound interesting.
If you spot any that Midwest festivals that catch your fancy, post them here.
The first is from a Explore Minnesota tourism listing, regarding Lanesboro’s Rhubarb Festival.
Mmmmmmm, rhubarb.
The event is Saturday, June 7, at Sylvan Park in Lanesboro, with free samples of rhubarb pies, chutneys, crisps and drinks. It includes a Rhubarb Olympics and a Rhubarb Rant Speakers Corner, among other events. More info: www.lanesboro.com
