We are already loving Fringe (usually can't go wrong with J.J. Abrams creations). I'm also curious to check out Kath & Kim.
As for returning shows, can't wait for the new season of Amazing Race (which I'm happy to report won its sixth consecutive Emmy for best reality series Sunday - well deserved) and The Office. Whatever will Phyllis do after seeing Angela and Dwight hooking up after hours? Agghhh! Can't wait! Both shows kick off this week (Thursday for The Office and Sunday for Amazing Race).
I'm also somewhat embarassed to admit that I can't miss the new Real Housewives series on Bravo. This season follows Atlanta women which should prove a sharp contrast to the beauties of Orange County and the socialites of New York City.

I've already been pleased with the new season of House, and am looking forward to watching Life (premiered last season) again. I'm a little upset that another new show from last fall, New Amsterdam, was canceled. I really think it could have been a good series.
We actually cancelled cable a few weeks back to spend real quality time away from the garbage being shoved down our throats on most television shows. As the morals and values of our Nation decline, so do those of the television. Instead of letting our brains rot and watch hours of TV a day, we spend actual quality time together doing things of value, like reading our Bibles, playing games, playing outdoors, and being physically active. In there, we find what is really important in life.
I find TV, in moderation of course, to be a great escape. So far this year, Fringe has been a pleasant surprise. Outside of that one new show, the surprising rebirth of One Tree Hill on The CW has been worth watching.
