![]() Meet Cute
January 12, 2007 - 1:36pm — Mollee Francisco
With Valentine's Day just over a month away (that's right gentlemen - Feb. 14 just like every year) I thought it would be fun to start collecting "Meet Cute" stories. Do you and your sweetie have an unusual tale about how you got together? Did you rescue him from the subway tracks after he had been knocked unconscious? Did you jump onto a moving ferris wheel to get her attention? Did you hear him on a radio show and know that you just had to meet him in person? Share your Meet Cute tales here and let the world go "Awwwww."

Nothing unusual, but perhaps...
Back to page topNothing unusual, but perhaps the worst opening line ever uttered by a young man seeking to woo a young woman: "Do you know me?" Whereupon the suitor wanna-be takes said woman on a first date, to a movie starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford, two stars to which no male can possibly measure up. Fortunately, he is persistent; she is tolerant. Today they have been happily married for more than 28 years.
