.... or is everyone working at the Chaska Bakery angry?
The past two dozen times we've been there, we've been treated with contempt. I thought that maybe it was just us, since we always bring 4 squirrelly kids who don't always quickly make up their minds, but this morning my parents went to pick up some donuts, and they were actually outright nasty to my mother.
Is anyone else recognizing this trend? It's sad, because the donuts are so good, but I don't think I'll be going back anymore.

Yesterday, a good friend and neighbor was walking his dog (a black lab puppy being trained as a service dog) next to my home when another dog attacked. The attacker was not on a leash - his owner was using Jonathan Common Property as a personal dog run. The attacking dog crossed the street, entered my property, and attacked the puppy.
This is why we have leash laws in Chaska. You are not allowed to exercise your dog off-leash on public property. The City of Chaska ordinances, Chapter 5, Article II, Division 1, Section 22 states:
"Confinement of animals.
I want to thank the Chaska Herald for taking the time to keep the residents of the Jonathan Association informed about the 2008 Board of Directors election. I appreciate their willingness to give candidates another forum to explain their views on the problems facing the Jonathan Association.
One of the worst parts of being a virtual employee is that I rarely get the opportunity to physically interact with my coworkers. I sit in my office at home, and use the phone, Skype, Twitter, and Instant Messenger to communicate with the other BSG Alliance folks. So, when I have the opportunity to fly to Texas and have some face time, I always jump at the chance.
Gotta love TiVo.
So, I am sitting here watching the replay of the February 20, 2007 Jonathan Annual Meeting, and I have to say I am nothing short of appalled.
Does anyone know if the Jonathan Association extended the deadline to file for the 3 Board positions??
So, we've been eating out a lot lately. Since I've started my new business, it seems that I have had absolutely no time to feed my family. Instead, I've been paying strangers to do it.
There are a lot of family restaurants in the area, but I have a couple of favorites. The first is McDonald's. I really only like it because I can drive through and bring the food home. Then I can pretend that I cooked (even if I don't have a deep fryer - the kids don't have to know that), and I don't have to worry about tipping.
