Potterheads rejoice! You don't have to say a final goodbye to the Harry Potter movie franchise until 2011.
The LA Times reported that Warner Bros. Pictures has opted to split the final book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" into two films. The first will be released in Nov. 2010 and the second in May 2011.
The nominations for the 2008 Academy Awards were announced early this morning:
Best picture
"Atonement"
"Juno"
"Michael Clayton"
"No Country for Old Men"
"There Will Be Blood"
If I see one more commercial for "Atonement" calling it the greatest film since "Titanic," I'm going to give up seeing movies all together.
I saw "Atonement" and it was good, but I wasn't falling all over myself trying to get out of the theater to tell the world about it.
I love movie trailers. They rank right up there on my Favorite Things list along with green laser lights and Q-tips.
While many are already hard at work on their fantasy football teams, there is finally a fantasy league for movie buffs.
Tonight the American Film Institute will release an updated top 100 greatest American movies of all time. The show airs at 7 p.m.
I love British comedies. That dry sense of humor is right up my alley. So when I got the chance to attend a screening of "Death at a Funeral," I jumped at it.
Time is running out and with no guarantee that I'll see any more nominated films or performances, I am ready to offer my 2007 Oscar picks. (The Oscars will be televised live on Sunday, Feb.
