FamilyBig Fat Bridal Blog: A family affairApril 24, 2008 - 12:03pm — Mollee FranciscoThree months of single-life left and Chad and I are on cruise control ... at least, for now. Anything that requires a contract has been signed and deposit checks have been flying out the door. It's true, we've hit a lull in the wedding planning process and for that, we are quite thankful. It's given us a chance to enjoy the nice weather a bit. Last weekend, we made the trek to the Brainerd-lakes area to spend the weekend with my grandparents and talk about the ceremony. My grandfather, an ordained minister, will be marrying us this summer. Eating with KidsNovember 6, 2006 - 11:14pm — txaggie94So, we've been eating out a lot lately. Since I've started my new business, it seems that I have had absolutely no time to feed my family. Instead, I've been paying strangers to do it. There are a lot of family restaurants in the area, but I have a couple of favorites. The first is McDonald's. I really only like it because I can drive through and bring the food home. Then I can pretend that I cooked (even if I don't have a deep fryer - the kids don't have to know that), and I don't have to worry about tipping. |
